Probation and parole both allow a person to live in the community under rules, but they begin through different legal paths. A Clark County court imposes probation, often without the person completing a prison term. The Idaho Commission of Pardons and Parole grants parole as conditional community release during the indeterminate part of an IDOC sentence. IDOC field officers supervise both statuses.

Release from Clark County Jail on bond is not parole. A person can also leave the jail through a court order, time served, dismissal, citation, or transfer. The custody event and the supervision event should be checked separately.

- Call the office displayed in the person’s detail record when a current public fact remains unclear.
IDOC says its database is updated daily but may not show the newest status, location, or scheduled termination information. A saved result is a useful lead, not a certified record. For a durable answer, request the narrow public status or decision record from the office that created it.

Clark County is assigned to IDOC Probation and Parole District 7. The district headquarters is in Idaho Falls, not Dubois. The individual record may show a different District 7 office, so follow that listing before assuming where the officer works.

Ask a focused question about public status, district assignment, or a displayed date. Case-management notes and other nonpublic supervision details may be withheld. An interstate transfer may show an Idaho district even though the office must clarify when Idaho assumed supervision.
Clark County Supervision Conditions
Conditions come from the controlling court order, parole decision, and supervision rules. Community placement and discharge are different milestones. “Released to Supervision” identifies the latest placement on supervision. It does not say the sentence disappeared. A dated “Discharged” result is the clearer public signal that IDOC jurisdiction ended, though separate cases or authorities must still be considered.
For probation, use the Clark County docket and public order to understand the court’s action. For parole, compare the Commission action with the later IDOC status. Clark County Parole Hearing Records
The Commission hearing schedule is posted on a rolling basis, with weekly publication described for 2026. Hearing sessions commonly occupy portions of each month, and the daily order is posted after the prior session day closes. Dates and times can change.
A calendar listing is not a release. Even a grant or tentative date remains subject to requirements, programming, approval of the parole plan, and final paperwork. The Commission’s Notices of Action Taken are generally posted by the end of Friday after a hearing. Read the actual notice, then confirm later community placement through IDOC.
Clark County Warrants and Absconders
IDOC’s public result can show “Active Bench Warrant” or “Fugitive.” Either label means the person should not be described as successfully discharged merely because the record places the person outside a prison. It also does not establish that the person is currently inside Clark County Jail.

Which Clark County Office Supervises
There is no verified parole office in Clark County itself. District 7 serves the county from Idaho Falls and its satellites. This regional structure is why a Dubois address should not be assumed from the sentencing county alone.
The person’s current detail record is the best starting point because assignments can be individual. If it identifies an officer, office address, and telephone, use that office. If it does not, District 7 headquarters can route a narrow inquiry. ID Replacement After Clark County Release
Idaho Transportation Department listings place Dubois Driver Services and Vehicle Services at 224 W. Main, the same street address used by the courthouse and sheriff. Published Driver Services hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no tests after 4:30 p.m. Hours should be checked before travel.
This is a practical route for replacing an identification or driver credential after release, but it does not promise same-day issuance. A mistake in a release or supervision record must instead be raised with the sheriff, Clark County court, or IDOC, depending on which office created the disputed entry.
Keep identity-service questions separate from supervision verification. Driver Services cannot change an IDOC status, court order, or sheriff entry, and a supervision office cannot issue a state credential.
